Built by a wireman for the trade.
OurLocal
A place for workers to find each other, help each other, and keep the trade connected.
OurLocal is for union members, apprentices, travelers, crews, collectors, organizers, and the people who keep this trade moving. It is being built around the things we actually use and care about, without trying to become another social-media circus.
What is here now
The useful stuff first. More gets added as it proves worth keeping.
Benefit Boards
Find benefits, fundraisers, memorials, and other ways to show up for people in the trade.
Challenge Coin Vault
Share the coins, stories, locals, road memories, and history that get passed around the trade.
Hall Directory
Find hall information and links. Official rules and status still come from the hall itself.
Private Spaces
Member-only rooms for focused conversations, projects, travelers, and working groups.
One important line
OurLocal is not the hall and does not speak for one. Dispatch, referral rules, book signing, dues standing, grievances, contracts, and other official matters still belong to the proper union process. When something is official, check it with the hall.
